Michael McCue, M.D., Sc.D.

Biography

Michael McCue, M.D., Sc.D., earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science , and a Doctorate of Science in Medical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School through the joint Harvard/MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology.  Dr. McCue completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota and completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the Children's Hospital in Boston, Mass.

Dr. McCue is a Fulbright Scholar who has published widely in the neurosciences. He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). He is board certified.

Dr. McCue's research interests include the design and development of surgical devices (www.headrest.de). 

Dr. McCue is currently performing surgery at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota and Fairview Southdale Hospital. He joined Neurosurgical Associates in July, 2001.
