Walter Galicich, M.D.

Biography

Walter Galicich, M.D., earned his medical degree at the Cornell University Medical College of New York. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota in the Neurosurgery Department.  He became board certified in 2001.

Dr. Galicich is an assistant professor in Neurosurgery at the University of MN.  He holds memberships in the American Medical Association (AMA), Minnesota Medical Association (MMA), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), Hennepin Medical Society and American Association of Neurological Surgery (AANS).  Dr Galicich's primary interests include brain and spinal cord trauma, pituitary tumors, neuro-oncology and complex spine disorders. 

Dr. Galicich performs neurosurgery at Abbott Northwestern and Hennepin County Medical Center.  Dr. Galicich joined Neurosurgical Associates in 1999.
