Veterans in the State of Minnesota are treated at Veterans Administration Hospitals.  Due to the overwhelming volume of patients that need care for injuries that occur during wars, the VA Hospitals have developed community partners to expedite patient care to the veterans.   The program is called Humana Veterans HealthCare Service (Project Hero). 

Neurosurgical Associates joined this effort in November of 2008.
